IdeaNight

Aim: To create a platform for the rapid exchange of ideas.

Technology: We wish to attract young activists, intellectuals and professions from universities, companies and organizations, who are genuinely interested in meeting experts from various fields to discuss and listen to each other.

Uniqueness: In ideaNight participants gather in a meeting place like a cafe and are provided by presentations of other participants or invited guests. Each presenter is allowed no more than 10 slides of power point presentation, each shown for 30 seconds - giving the speaker 5 minutes of fame, and 5 minutes for Q&A before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up, and gives more people the chance to show.

ideaNight would be a rapid and concise way to transmit liberty ideas. The format of ideaNight is very similar to Pecha Kucha or Ignite, but is aimed at discussing freedom ideas and economic and social processes involving young activists and intellectuals.

Expected results: We hope to attract participants with intellectual curiosity and desire for truth. Our secondary hope is that participants gradually start taking greater initiative in organizing ideaNight’s, to decrease organizational costs and time on part of the Institute.
